During the course of time, the manufacturing industry is still more likely to
get an economic growth. Ladies and gentlemen who are in business this time
are actually quite a lot, for that reason, in terms of services, they can take
care of tourists there. In this study aims to determine whether there is an
effect of the quality of service and word of mouth on the decision to visit
Lumajang Veterans Swimming Pool. This type of research is quantitative
research. This study used a questionnaire as material for data collection,
which was analyzed by multiple regression tests with the help of SPSS
software. The sampling technique uses simple random sampling and the
sample used is 100 respondents from Lumajang Veterans Swimming Pool
visitors. The data used in this study include primary and secondary data.
There are 2 variables in this study namely independent and dependent
variables. Independent variables include service quality and word of mouth. Whereas the acting as the dependent variable is the visiting decision. The
results of this study indicate that service quality variables influence the
decision to visit Lumajang Veterans Swimming Pool. Whereas the word of
mouth variable does not affect the decision to visit Lumajang Veterans
Swimming Pool. This means that service quality variables partially have a
significant effect on visiting decisions, but word of mouth variables partially
have no significant effect on visiting decisions. The parties and officers of
the Veteran Swimming Pool should better improve the quality of services so
that visitors who visit can be more satisfied and will always continue to use
the Veteran Swimming Pool services as a tourist destination.
