Abstract

Human resource management is defined in many ways, but the important point that appears in almost all definitions is that an effective organization, institution, or company must be able to find, use, retain, and develop people to achieve the desired results. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of training, motivation, and family support. This study uses a quantitative approach. The population in this study were male prisoners of the Class IIB Penitentiary in Lumajang Regency, amounting to 578 people. The sampling technique in this study used probability sampling with proportionate stratified random sampling technique to determine the number of samples using Roscoe theory and produced a total of 40 samples. The results of this study indicate that the training variable has a positive effect on the entrepreneurial interest of prisoners of the Class IIB Penitentiary in Lumajang Regency. The motivational variable has a positive effect on the entrepreneurial interest of prisoners in the
Class IIB Penitentiary in Lumajang Regency. The variable of family support has a positive effect on the entrepreneurial interest of prisoners of Class IIB Penitentiary in Lumajang Regency. The
results of the simultaneous test of training, motivation, and family support have a significant simultaneous effect on the entrepreneurial interest of prisoners at the Class IIB Penitentiary
in Lumajang Regency.
