Interest in entrepreneurship is a person's desire to create a business with the capabilities possessed in order to improve the quality of his life for the better. The number of unemployed resulted in an increase in crime so that the occupants of the Class IIB Lumajang Penitentiary also increased. From these problems, entrepreneurship is an alternative solution to reduce unemployment which is fatal, so training and motivation are needed that will encourage interest in entrepreneurship. Therefore, this study was conducted to determine how much influence the training program and motivation had on the entrepreneurial interest of prisoners at the Class IIB Lumajang Penitentiary. This research is quantitative in nature and the sample is taken using a census technique of 50 people. This research was conducted using primary data through the distribution of questionnaires which were processed using multiple linear regression analysis techniques. The results of this study indicate that the training program has a significant effect on the interest in entrepreneurship, motivation has a significant effect on the interest in entrepreneurship, and training and motivation have a significant effect on the interest in entrepreneurship of prisoners in the Class IIB Lumajang prison. This proves that to increase the desire or interest in entrepreneurship, coaching or work guidance must be given regularly to improve and hone skills and abilities to see existing business opportunities with strong motivation from within so that they will not commit criminal acts again.
