Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of profitability, company size, and capital structure on firm value in companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2016-2019. The method used is the purposive sampling method using quantitative research with the data source being the financial statements of mining companies. published on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The population data for this study were 9 companies from 49 mining companies in 2016-2019. This study used multiple linear regression test data analysis techniques. The results of the study show that profitability has an effect on firm value because the higher the sales, the greater the profit. The size of the company affects the value of the company because it has a large scale and for companies that are classified as large, it can be seen a development and it is easy to get funds from the capital market compared to companies that are classified as small. The capital structure affects the value of the company because spending has been through consideration by holding a joint meeting and it will be decided to spend with own capital with long-term debt.
