Abstract

This study was designed to identify the impact of independent commissioners, capital structure, free cash flow, and sales growth on dividend policy in manufacturing companies in the consumer goods sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). The dividend policy reflects the amount of dividends that will be
received by shareholders from the company or the return on investment for shareholders. The research method employed in this study was quantitative. The data was collected from external sources and secondary data in the form of financial reports available on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 20202022. The study utilized purposive sampling technique with a total sample of 102 companies in the manufacturing sector of consumer goods. This research applied multiple linear regression using SPSS version 26. The data revealed that independent commissioners, free cash flow, and sales growth had a significant positive impact on dividend policy, while capital structure also had a significant
positive impact on dividend policy.
